Please ensure when ordering that you place separate orders
under the following groups as carriage charges vary between these groups: Livestock,
Plants, Equipment
i.e. if you wish to order fish and plants, place two
separate orders one for the livestock and another for the plants even when
going to the one delivery address. You need only however send the one
cheque/postal order for payment.
Box Quantities. You will notice that
just under the product description the text " Box = ", This
helps you to calculate the quantity allowable per box, especially useful
when ordering lower quantities or mixed types, sizes or species.
i.e. Box = 0.01 is equal to 1/100 of a box
therefore you can order 100 of these per box shipping, Box = 0.10
is equal to 1/10th of a box therefore you can order 10 of these per box
shipping, Box = 0.25 is equal to 1/4 of a box, Box = 0.50
is equal to 1/2 a box, Box = 0.75 is equal to 3/4 of a box. etc.
One box is equal to 1.00
In addition, fish are available in single or multiple
quantities, the multiples available have been calculated to offer maximum
use of shipping allowance and quantity discounts, by taking a look at our price
list you will see that the purchase price falls as the quantity increases.
With regard to livestock & carriage costs bear in mind
that the most costly box is the first one subsequent boxes are approximately
a third of the cost! Additional savings would be made on both carriage
and possibly on quantity by getting together with a like minded friend if
living close by.
Mixing Fish. When mixing
sizes only order similar sizes if they are to travel in the same
box. Any orders received that due to a considerable difference in
size may cause discomfort to the smaller members of the shipment will be
rejected. We suggest that you only order fish that are no more than
three - four size steps in either direction.
